Good morning, Suzani

8 Mar

Suzani is a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.

I briefly talked about this gorgeous textile way back when I first started (here), but the more I come across it, the more I love it and feel it deserves it’s own post, all to itself!  As you will see below, Suzani design can be used across a wide variety of home decor elements.  My personal favorite Suzani-use is with pillows, because the colors and flower like design add a bright and cheery look to what can otherwise be a plain couch or arm chair.  But scroll down and you’ll see the options are endless…

So Suzani, this one is for you!
